Diamond Wire + Beads
We offer a wide range of diamond wires for granite, marble and other dimensional stone quarrying, profiling, squaring and multi-wire cutting applications. Our beads are processed through the advanced Hot Isostatic Processing which gives better diamond retention and higher tool reliability.
Granite Wires – Our granite wires are produced using our patented diamond bead distribution system which allows for faster cutting and improved performance.
Our diamond wires are assembled with or without springs and generally encapsulated with specialized rubber and or plastic. Rubber encapsulated diamond wires have also been adapted for cutting of slate, marble and sandstone. The advantages of rubber encapsulation are as follows:
- The rubber is bonded onto the steel cable thus protecting the inner cable from the stone slurry which can cause the cable to snap in operation.
- Uneven water cooling of the diamond wire in operation can lead to plastic encapsulation softening and snapping which is avoided in rubber encapsulation as it has the ability to withstand higher operating temperatures.
- Rubber wires are generally more flexible thus lesser chances of the diamond wire jamming and reduces the risk of uneven wear on the diamond beads.
Marble Wires – All our beads are processed through the HIP cycle offering advanced quality beads in terms of cutting speed and production cycle. Our sintered beads are proven to cut a variety of different marbles from throughout the world with great efficiency in terms of cutting speed and tool life. We constantly are working to optimize the combination of diamond and metal bond to offer newer products to our customers.
We also offer various accessories which are required for spring assembly of the diamond wire by our customer. All accessories in combination with our wire beads are proven to perform globally.
Our rubber encapsulated marble wires have proven to provide an operational tool life around 15,000 sq.ft thus lowering the manpower and accessories cost to re-assemble the marble wires.
